Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

The new Apex Waterloo Place Hotel opened its doors in March 2009.  It enjoys a prime city centre location in Edinburgh’s New Town. Located at the east end of Princes Street on Waterloo Place, this beautiful Georgian property has been transformed into a contemporary 4 star deluxe hotel. Built in 1819, the property was Edinburgh’s first purpose built hotel and the refurbishment will see the building returned to hotel trading after 120 years.

187 contemporary bedrooms will include oversized desks, ergonomic chairs, 42” LCD TVs, personal safes and fridges. Most will also include separate bath & walk in power showers.

A large conference suite on the ground floor accommodates a maximum of 150 delegates theatre style, with four additional meeting rooms including a listed oak–panelled room. All enjoy natural daylight with full audio–visual and technical support facilities.

The hotel includes Elliot’s - a stylish city restaurant serving Scottish brasserie cuisine with a separate bar and lounge area, serving 80 covers

The hotel also boasts Yu Spa leisure facilities including pool, gym, sauna and steam room.
