Gosford House

The incomparable Gosford House sits just 20 minutes east of Edinburgh. Gosford is the family seat of the Earls of Wemyss & March, it is set amongst 5,000 acres of beautiful coast and parkland, the estate is dominated by the house one of the last great architectural commissions of Robert Adam. The views from the house look back across the Forth to Edinburgh and the Castle.

The two tier Marble Hall with its Italian influences offers the WOW factor with its double staircase, elaborate fireplaces, colonnades and superb collection of art work and with the ability to access balconies to the front and rear of the building this allows for large free flowing receptions for up to 600. The dining room seats up to 120 guests for a gala dinner.

Incentives, gala dinners, receptions, conferences, activity days, product launches, film and photo shoots are all options. For small or large golf days, our multi award winning golf club Craigielaw, across the road is available, from golf clinics for beginners to competitions for 140 experienced golfers.

Extensive lawns and water features allow for huge outdoor events, whether you require a marquee for 5000 guests for dinner to an exhibition of large scale machinery all can be situated just 30 metres from the house. Activity days provided can range from traditional Highland games events, falconry, clay pigeon shooting and much more.
