Over the last 400 years the University of Edinburgh has given rise to some of the city's most distinctive and iconic buildings. At Edinburgh First we bring these majestic buildings to life as successful conference, dining and meeting venues that are full of Edinburgh's character and charm.
We will organise, cater and facilitate your event professionally and efficiently to ensure it runs smoothly and creates a lasting and memorable experience for your delegates.
Our Old College complex is the birthplace of the University. Built in the 16th century, this impressive Edinburgh landmark houses the stunning Playfair Library Hall, with its impressive neo-classical barrel-vaulted ceiling is ideal for exclusive dinners, presentations and conferences.
Our other historic buildings include the Reid Concert Hall, Talbot Rice Gallery, St Cecilia's Hall and the prestigious McEwan Hall. We can also co-ordinate events at the Church of Scotland's impressive Assembly Hall. These venues are extremely flexible, offering space from 10 to 1,000 delegates.
