A luxurious, small country house hotel set in 28 acres of stunning gardens, providing an idyllic rural setting for your next business event, meeting or conference.

Cringletie House combines 19th century Scottish Baronial atmosphere with 21st century comfort.  The public rooms retain traditional log fires along with a fine collection of paintings, sculptures and Scottish art.

The bedrooms are individually styled, ranging from turret rooms to grand suites and all offer a high standard of comfort.  Each room has an exceptional view of the grounds and rolling hills beyond.

There are a variety of conference rooms including our large, bright conservatory which can be set up in theatre, boardroom or classroom style and hosts up to 60 guests.  The cozy library is ideal for a small reception or breakout area.  A full range of conference facilities are available, including state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and video conferencing.

The food we serve in our two rosette Sutherland Restaurant is inspired by the excellence and abundance of local Scottish produce and many of the vegetables are freshly picked from our own walled kitchen garden.

Group leisure activities can be arranged for team building events or as part of the social programme - these include shooting, fishing, mini highland games, whisky tasting and casino evenings.

Cringletie House is easily accessible and situated only 30 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, in the The Royal Borough (Burgh) of Peebles, one of Scotland's royal and ancient burghs and is surrounded by attractive open countryside.
