Our modern, stylish 5 star Visit Scotland rated youth hostel is located in the heart of the city. Bedrooms range from single and twin through to 8-bedded rooms and all are en-suite.

A licensed café and restaurant and self-catering facilities are available, giving plenty of choice for any budget. WiFi is available throughout the building as well as 6 workstations, so you don’t even need your laptop. We offer quality conferencing facilities, so if you are looking for a city centre location that is affordable, contemporary, has state of the art equipment & offers reliable catering we are here for you.

Our conference facility is a multi-functional area and has a number of configurations to suit all. Hardware includes a ceiling mounted projector, a remote control projection screen, entertainment system and DVD player. An induction loop is also fitted within the seminar room and reception area for those with hearing impairments.  We are fast becoming extremely popular for the services we provide.

Centrally located 5 minutes walk to the Edinburgh Playhouse, Omni Centre and King James shopping Mall. We are just 0.5 miles from the shops of Princes Street and Edinburgh Waverly Rail Station and within walking distance of most of Edinburgh’s tourist attractions.

This modern stylish 5 star Hostel is well equipped to suit the needs of single travellers, families and groups. We have 72 en-suite rooms with capacity for 293 guests, meeting, conference or private dining facilities catering for up to 70, a licensed café and restaurant and self-catering facilities are available, giving plenty of choice for any budget. Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 am to 10 am (all day breakfasts are available in the café). Our café area has plasma TV's, internet access, WI-FI coverage, so where better to spend an hour or two enjoying a few drinks, meeting friends and making new ones! As with all SYHA hostels, a self-catering kitchen & dining area are provided for guests who wish to cook their own meals or those travelling on a limited budget. Other facilities in the Hostel include laundry and drying machines and ironing. You can store your luggage in our safe coin lockers or in our luggage store.
