Bruntsfield Links is Edinburgh’s most prestigious golf club and the fourth oldest in the world. Bruntsfield is an Open Championship Qualifier venue and is 3 miles from Edinburgh city centre. The course and clubhouse offer excellent views over the Firth of Forth.
The grand clubhouse is renowned for its catering often said to provide one of the best golfers lunches in the whole of Scotland. Golfing memorabilia including ancient clubs, balls, trophies and fine paintings decorate the clubhouse. The upstairs Dining Room and Sandy Watson room are the perfect setting for private groups where meeting facilities are available as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The 18 hole course is a mature parkland layout originally designed by Willie Park Jnr with later course modifications by world famous architects Dr Alister Mackenzie and James Braid.
Onsite parking for up to 100 cars is available as well as male and female locker room, toilet and shower facilities. The Bruntsfield pro shop can provide tuition for groups and rental clubs, golf buggies or trolleys. The club practice facilities include a driving range and 2 practice putting greens.
