The Ghillie Dhu Rabbie Burns Experience
Join us at Ghillie Dhu to Celebrate the Great Robert Burns with a Truly Spectacular and Traditional Scottish Experience. You and your guests will be greeted with an arrival dram before being seated for our R abbie Burns menu. The haggis will be piped into the room with a Robert Burns reading and the traditional toast. Throughout dinner, there will be traditional live Scottish Folk Music and after dinner immerse yourself in a truly traditional Scottish experience with live Ceilidh band calling all the classic jigs and reels for you to dance the night away!

Kick-off your Chinese New Year and Burns Night with Mercat Tour’s Secrets of the Royal Mile tour focusing on the Year of the Rat!

This Burns and Beyond event will take you on a journey down the cobblestoned streets of Edinburgh, where you’ll explore some of the key events that happened during the Years of the Rat which have shaped Scottish History.

Follow us down the historic Royal Mile and through mysterious closes as we share more about some of the prominent figures who hold this clever, quick-thinking and peaceful zodiac.

Alternative Burns Night at Hard Rock Cafe

Celebrate Burns Night and taste our special menu full of Scottish flavours.

Unique to the Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh, the Haggis Burger is prepared with local flavour and flair. Our ½ lb burger is topped with a generous portion of locally sourced Haggis, whisky-laced caramelised onions, mature Scottish cheddar and crispy onion straws. Served on a toasted bun with crisp lettuce and vine-ripened tomato.

A Truly Memorable Burns Supper aboard The Royal Yacht

Burns Supper - 24 & 25 January 2020

To celebrate the birth of our national bard Robert Burns, we are delighted to be hosting a ticketed traditional Burns Supper aboard The Royal Yacht Britannia.

Guests will be welcomed aboard by Britannia's piper to experience an unforgettable Scottish evening. A delicious four course menu will be served in the State Dining Room by Britannia's butlers. Featuring the very best Scottish ingredients, dinner will be prepared by our Executive Chef Mark Alston and his team in the original Royal Galleys.

The highlight of the evening, the 'Address to the Haggis' will be followed by a Whisky Tasting in the State Drawing Room.

The evening also includes a highlights tour of The Royal Yacht Britannia.

Tickets are priced at £210 per person (inc VAT)

Join us for delicious traditional Scottish fayre and dance your socks off with our in house ceilidh band.

Guests are piped in where they can purchase arrival drinks at the bar. Seating will be at shared tables to enjoy a delicious Burns supper menu.
