Nicolson Square Edinburgh (NSE), part of Central Hall Venues, is a conference and events venue centrally located in the beautiful and historic capital of Scotland. This venue, Category A Listed, is housed in the City of Edinburgh’s Methodist Church buildings where it was first inaugurated as a public meeting space for the Methodist church in 1815.
We have five flexible event spaces capable of holding events for up to 250 people. The venue sits within two conjoined buildings on site, the Main building, where the majestic Great Hall is located, consisting of classical style decoration and a high ceiling.
The Epworth Hall, which was constructed in 1915 to commemorate the centenary year of the Methodist Church, is adjacent to the main building and holds the other meeting rooms. Both buildings are interlinked by a connecting corridor and lift allowing seamless use of the entire building and its flexible meeting spaces.
