Located on the University’s Pollock Halls campus, Masson House is the largest of the four residences, providing accommodation for up to 100 rooms. The site also includes the Masson House Bistro and Lounge, which was awarded the prestigious ‘Taste our Best’ accreditation by VisitScotland last year. Situated close to Arthur’s Seat and in walking distance of the city centre, the three-star, 18th century mansion offers 36 en-suite bedrooms.. While the interiors have received a modern day makeover, the rooms retain the grandeur and unique nature of the building and its grounds.
KM Central, formerly known as Kenneth Mackenzie, has undergone a large-scale renovation on its 45 double en-suite bedrooms as well as a re-design of the breakfast room. KM Central is one of Edinburgh First’s year-round hotels in heart of the city. Its compact and contemporary design, means the purposeful rooms use efficient amount of space making for a comfortable stay. A ‘typical’ room is 13.6sqm, which includes double bed, wardrobe, desk and en-suite – perfect for delegates.
During the summer , our Pollock Halls and Summer Flats also offer great value bed and breakfast accommodation during the peak season. With rooms for hundreds of visitors, they are flexible and affordable alternatives for those larger conferences where space is important.

If you are looking for something longer-term, Edinburgh First manages a contemporary self-catered apartment block in the heart of the city centre.
