Jenners

Jenners is a premium department store located on Princes Street, the principal shopping area of Edinburgh. Looking across the gardens to the renowned Edinburgh Castle, Jenners is an iconic store providing a wide range of branded clothing and accessories, beauty products and homeware goods.

Having traded since 1838, Jenners is one of the oldest department stores in the world. The original architecture was destroyed by a fire in 1892 and, following this, a Victorian masterpiece was designed and reopened in 1895. Acquired by House of Fraser in 2005, the Category A building is world famous for both retailing and architecture, as its external fabric features female stone caryatids (statues) holding up the structure. The building has held a royal warrant since the year 1911.

Upon entry, Jenners beauty hall displays a large array of products from leading brands such as Urban Decay, Chanel, Dior, Lancôme and La Mer. The clothing departments featured on the ground and first floor showcase high-end brands such as Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein which stand alongside exclusive ‘House of Fraser’ labels, including Linea, Biba and Howick.

The second, third and fourth floors play host to premium homeware goods, including a recently developed furniture department featuring Natuzzi and Harris Tweed. There is also an exclusive art gallery where guests can enjoy a glass of wine and peruse work from both local and international artists.

Alongside an established restaurant, Jenners features three coffee bars, including the famed Valvona & Crolla and its subsequent foodhall. For over 80 years, Valvona & Crolla has showcased artisan produce, delivering the finest in handmade Scottish food and gifts including cashmere, silks and tartans. The fifth and final floor plays host to both the Regis and Clarins Spa, offering an extensive range of quality hair, beauty and body treatments, and providing the perfect end to a highly memorable shopping experience.
