Edinburgh Convention Bureau (ECB) is entering an exciting new phase focused on delivery, sustainable growth and maximising the value business events bring to the city. With renewed ambition, strengthened partnerships and multi-year investment through the Edinburgh Visitor Levy, ECB is building on its foundations to deliver greater value for Edinburgh.
As part of a new three-tier governance model, ECB is seeking 5–6 experienced professionals to join its Operational Group. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise and industry insight to a group that will help connect ECB's strategic ambition with practical priorities and effective delivery.

Working closely with the Delivery Team, you will help translate strategy into clear programmes, outcomes and measures of success, while ensuring risks, resources and emerging market opportunities are properly considered.
You will also help strengthen collaboration across Edinburgh’s business events and wider destination partnership, bringing together businesses, institutions and partners around shared priorities.
The Group will help ensure business events deliver value well beyond visitor numbers, contributing to Fair Work and inclusive growth, Net Zero and climate action, social impact and civic legacy, and economic development and revenue generation.
This is an opportunity to have a direct influence on the future of Edinburgh’s business events sector, using your experience, connections and constructive challenge to help turn ambition into measurable results.
