Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel

A cosmopolitan clubhouse in Scotland’s historic capital city overlooking one of Edinburgh’s prettiest private garden squares, The 184 rooms and 15 suites are part of seven interconnecting Georgian townhouses which showcase Kimpton’s bold and playful design.  All of our bedrooms and suites have been given a smart, new look, inspired by the golden age of travel and a genuine sense of Scottish hospitality.

Our beautiful internal courtyard, The Garden — an oasis of calm with a glass roof — is now open from breakfast through to the wee hours. Inspired by the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean, our new restaurant, BABA is brought to you by the team behind Glasgow’s award-winning Ox and Finch restaurant.

Georgian interiors, historic charm, and beautiful views over the leafy Charlotte Square set the tone perfectly for a meeting in Edinburgh. We have six meeting rooms that can seat from 12 to 350. The largest of these, the Gallery, looks out over George Street and is a light and airy ‘blank canvas’ that is ideal for presentations, parties and product launches. The Cellar, found in the basement level, is an industrial space and ideal for private parties, product launches and drinks receptions. The Executive Boardroom can be booked for up to 12 people making it perfect for smaller meetings. All of the rooms have been kitted out with all the AV and IT you are likely to need.

Free, superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum bandwidth of 100Mb is available throughout the hotel.

Ideally located for short breaks in Edinburgh, the hotel is just two minutes’ walk from Princes Street and overlooks the magnificent Edinburgh Castle. There is also on site car parking for central Edinburgh and easy access to Waverley train station.
