Owned by chef-patron, Jean Michel Gauffre, La Garrigue opened its doors in 2001 and has consistently won 2 AA Rosettes every year since then. Inspired by Jean Michel's country upbringing in Languedoc, La Garrigue offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine complimented by a large selection of the best wines from this area of France known as 'Le Midi' .
The restaurant features rustic Tim Stead tables and chairs as well as original paintings by Andrew Walker from Jean Michel's home town of Bedarieux and is a cross between an up market restaurant and a bistro offering that 'Je ne sais quoi' experience.
La Garrigue is Gordon Ramsay's favourite French bistro and was The Good Food Guide's restaurant of the year 2010.
