For two centuries the Laing family has been at the forefront of the Scottish jewellery trade. Established in 1840 by brothers James and William Laing, the company quickly became known for exceptional design and superior craftsmanship - a reputation that has only grown over some 175 years. Laings has a long tradition in both the manufacture and wholesale of fine jewellery and watches.

Located in Edinburgh since 1978, the store moved from Frederick Street to a new flagship store on George Street in December 2015. The jewellery floor is home to Laings exclusive, in-house designed diamond jewellery, alongside some of the finest jewellery brands available. For those who love watches, the Watch Gallery upstairs is the place to be. With a range of top Swiss brands such as Rolex, Cartier and IWC Schaffhausen, it’s a paradise for those who have an interest in luxury goods.

The space offers an incredible and highly unique opportunity to hold your event. Located over two floors, there is the option for both an informal drinks and canapes reception for around one hundred people or a formal sit down dinner for up to forty people. The space is highly flexible and can be adapted to suit the needs of the evening.

With our house diamond experts and a watch team representing world renowned brands, there is the chance for guests to learn and engage in the modern and sophisticated settings of the jewellery floor and watch gallery.
