For gentlemen we must start off with Harris tweed woven in the Outer Hebrides, alongside this we have wax jackets and coats, cashmere & lambs-wool knitwear and accessories. For ladies we have a huge range of cashmere & lambs-wool knitwear and accessories including jewellery from leading companies. 

Food
We stock an extensive range of Scottish foods including shortbread from Walkers and Deans, confectionery from Ross’s of Edinburgh with tablet, fudge, toffees and many types of Edinburgh Rock.

Spirit of Scotland Whisky Shop
A Scottish experience would not be complete without the “water of life” which is well represented in store with over 200 malts and a range of blends, spirits, liqueurs and beers from all of the regions across Scotland. There is a tasting bar every day giving samples of malts and liqueurs in the true Scots welcoming spirit!

Highland Dress and Clan
We have a dedicated floor to support highland dress, offering made to measure kilts, skirts, waistcoats and trews. We also have one of the biggest selections of clan family name and tartan souvenirs available.

Restaurant
Our Sir Walter Scott’s Traditional Tearoom on the second floor of Romanes & Paterson’s affords fantastic views across the Princes Street Gardens to the Old Town and of course Edinburgh Castle itself.  A table service restaurant, where the focus is on traditional Scottish fayre with all the food freshly prepared on the premises.
