Sir Walter Scott's Traditional Tearoom

Our Sir Walter Scott’s Traditional Tearoom on the second floor of Romanes & Paterson’s affords fantastic views across the Princes Street Gardens to the Old Town and of course Edinburgh Castle itself. 

A table service restaurant, where the focus is on traditional Scottish fayre with all the food freshly prepared on the premises.  

The Tearoom is open from 9am to 9pm so food available ranges from a full Scottish breakfast, afternoon tea, hot daily special or sandwiches. There are 14 different teas to choose from made with traditional leaves including Thistle & Whisky.

Seating for 46 and special Scottish menus can be put together for groups visiting.
