The Bruntsfield Hotel

Originally three 1860s townhouses, then a Best Western and now independently owned, The Bruntsfield Hotel is a handsome four-storey hotel. With about £1 million spent doing it up, it is now able to showcase 73 beautiful bedrooms.

The setting is the real star; overlooking Bruntsfield Links Park in leafy, up-and-coming Bruntsfield “village”, the hotel feels miles from Auld Reekie’s summer bustle, yet it’s a 20-minute stroll across the Meadows from the Royal Mile.

The Neighbourhood is the hotel’s restaurant and has its separate entrance from the hotel and offers a casual yet refined dining experience with freshly cooked dishes using the finest Scottish produce and a handpicked selection of drinks.

The Bruntsfield Hotel offers two fully equipped meeting rooms available for hire: The Cardoon Suite and The Blysthwood Room.  Our Cardoon Suite is ideal for small exhibitions, product launches and special family events such as a birthday, christening, anniversary, celebration dinner or a reception.

It accommodates up to 110 delegates and has its own dedicated entrance and bar, as well as a direct access to our secluded garden terrace.

The Blysthwood Room can accommodate up to 16 delegates theatre style but is also ideal as a boardroom for up to 8 delegates.

We have at heart to make a difference at the Bruntsfield Hotel and in that regard, we launched last year our Meet with Purpose scheme. We partnered up with Invisible Cities, an award-winning tour company and social enterprise that trains people affected by homelessness to become walking tour guides of their own city and offer alternative tours to tourists and locals Invisible Cities will organise familiarisation tours for Ukrainian refugees newly arrived in the capital.

The Bruntsfield Hotel commits to sending Invisible Cities £5 per delegate package it sells for that purpose.
