The Georgian House
Located in the New Town’s Charlotte Square, with prestigious Bute House – the official residence of the First Minister of Scotland – next door, the Georgian House provides a fascinating insight into fashionable society life in 18th- and 19th-century Scotland. Furnished with an exquisite collection of period furniture, porcelain and silver, the gracious rooms overlooking Charlotte Square gardens, provide an elegant space for drinks receptions or boardroom meetings. The National Trust for Scotland’s dedicated team of curators and conservators are also available by special request, to meet with your group and tell them more about the charities vital work in protecting Scotland’s heritage for future generations to enjoy.
