The Scottish Cafe and Restaurant

The award winning Scottish Cafe & Restaurant celebrates seasonal, Scottish food in a modern space on the ground floor of the Scottish National Gallery at The Mound in Edinburgh.

This venue offers a truly unique setting, we are proud to be the only restaurant in Edinburgh to be situated right in the heart of Princes Street Gardens. Our locally sourced, seasonal menu showcases the best artisan producers from around Scotland and highlights the fantastic Scottish larder in all seasons.

The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant is available for hire for exclusive evening events.

Our events team is delighted to work with you to create anything from a private party to a corporate drinks reception, dinner or ceilidh! We can accommodate 50-200 for a seated dinner and up to 300 for a standing drinks reception. There is no venue hire but we work on a minimum spend basis.
