Romanes & Paterson - Sir Walter Scott's Room

Sir Walter Scott's Room is located on the second floor of Romanes & Paterson, the Premier Visitor Retailer in the city. The room faces southwards with views across Princes Street to the Castle & OId Town.

Food & beverages can be provided from our extensive fresh homemade Scottish Menu, either buffet style or waited table service. Staff members will be provided for the duration of the hire and can be used as greeters, for cloakroom, serving food or beverages or any other duties on request.

The cost of any rental charges for the room can be offset against any catering cost, making for a very cost effective solution. The room is available from 8am to 11pm, 7 days a week.

The room can be used for many different formats and has a great central location, with natural light and great views, making for a unique venue, as the store has been in it's current location since 1880 and is an Edinburgh institution.

The retail store can provide many additional complimentary services, such as goodie bags, gift baskets, special exclusive discount offers for delegates and whisky tastings/talks from our Spirit of Scotland Whisky shop with over 300
malts.

AV/media equipment can be provided by one of our local partners to meet your specific requirements.  There is a lift directly to the room and full washroom facilities adjacent.
