Here at the multi-award-winning Scotch Whisky Experience beside Edinburgh Castle, we seamlessly blend an enviable central location with 9 superbly equipped private event spaces and the very best in Scottish cuisine. We’re fully accessible and open 364 days of the year.

For the ultimate dining experience of up to 10 people, look no further than the glass and marble vault of our world-famous Whisky Collection, named by Whisky Advocate Magazine as “one of the seven wonders of the Scotch whisky world”.

Designed by our award-winning chefs, we’ll surprise you with five exquisite courses, while our whisky sommeliers will entice you with delicious fine wines and exclusive single malts to complement each dish. We’ll meticulously plan the evening to your personal taste, guaranteeing you and your guests leave with memories to treasure for a lifetime.

For larger gatherings of up to 80 people, our spacious Castlehill Room combines period features with elegant modern touches and Scotch whisky-inspired artwork, creating a uniquely luxurious space for entertaining.

Alternatively, our bright and versatile Whisky Bonds 1, 2 and 3 can be used individually or combined to host up to 90 people, with optional red-carpet VIP private access from Johnston Terrace, and flexible break-out areas for meetings & conferences.

For intimate dinners, receptions and meetings, choose from our beautiful Stillhouse Suite (seats 10), with its artisan crafted "whisky river" oak table, and our south-facing Blender’s Room (seats 16), with its breath-taking views over Edinburgh’s historic Old Town towards the rolling Pentland Hills.

We can host 240 guests with full venue hire, as well as enhance and complement events with bespoke whisky tastings and private viewings of our world-famous whisky collection.

And if you can’t come to us, we’ll happily come to you and host tastings wherever you would like to surprise, entertain and inspire your guests. Our specialist tastings team, which includes Masters and Keepers of The Quaich, have a warm, fun and engaging storytelling style, and infectious love of all things Scotch and Scottish.
